D&C question

Hi everyone. It’s my first pregnancy and at my 8.5 week ultrasound there was no heartbeat. I opted for D&C and wanted to know if anyone has advice on how to prepare myself for this before and after beyond what the dr has briefed me. I am worried about trying later but sure I just need time to process. Thanks for listening.
