Do you keep the clothes?

Question

I have 2 girls. 5 years apart and I go back and forth on wether or not I should/want to keep my oldest daughters clothes for little sister 🤔I’m thinking I may just go through it all and keep my favorite stuff.

I have an 8 year old girl and I’m pregnant with another girl.
I have stuff saved from my 8 year that’s nice quality and pricey.
Nice coats or stuff she barely wore.
I have it in a vacuum seal bag stored away.
Might as well 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would as long as they are in good shape. You never know what financial challenges may come your way in the future.

My boys are 5 1/2 years apart and I only keep what us in good shape from the oldest. As he gets older the more I save is getting less and less.

My daughter is only 2.5, and I’m not pregnant yet, but I have stored all her clothes. Although I’m hoping my second will be a not because my favorite hobby is shopping for baby clothes.

I would. I’ve kept all my daughters old clothes cause they’re super cute and I know most likely they won’t be restocked. I like very specific clothing for my kids tho and it’s very expensive hard to find

I did mine are 7 years apart and saved from her (our second) incase we have another girl in the future (she’s 4.5 now) and I am not pregnant

Well. I am keep all the baby clothes in a vaccum bag in a box. I had our first child, a son in September and we plan on having another one in a year or two. And I don't care if they are blue or pink I don't want to buy new ones. I believe I can do the saving clothes thing about until they are 7/8 maybe, because until then, children doesn't care about clothes they have.

I did! I have 3 boys and the two youngest have worn clothes my 10 year old wore through his first years. It’s cute to see them all wear the same shirt or outfit throughout the years.

I have my son’s baby clothes stored away. Had two girls after. Pregnant again and Really hoping for a boy this time. And it’ll be nice cause boy clothes are ready to go. And they would be five years apart if it’s a boy. So I say keep it all.

I did, vacuum sealed, but only my favorite pieces and things that were hardly worn. I’ll still end up buying new things, but I want to save the money! 😅
My second ended up being a boy, but I had plenty of gender neutral stuff to pass along and didn’t have to buy nearly as much with my daughter. Hoping my third will be a girl, but if not I’ll go through my daughters clothes one more time and just keep things that I think she’ll want to pass down to her kids/to have for the memory of it.
