So every Christmas (well any gift giving holiday, or not) my mom always goes way over board on gifts. My husband and I Don't get the kids a lot so we ask her to keep it minimal so she doesn't always get them way more than us. She never listens! It makes me feel like a bad parent 😣 and it's super frustrating. I know I'm lucky that she is buying them stuff, but she does it for the wrong intensions. She's doing it so she can be the favorite. She admitted to that! She said "I'm grandma and they are supposed to like me the best". Umm no.... Im just so upset and hurt. Not to mention is making my kids spoiled as they expect the gifts and are not grateful for them anymore.
