B6 dosage?

I bought a bottle from Walmart but it’s 100mg a pill. Is that okay to take that much? Also do I have to take unisom with it to work? I don’t have trouble falling asleep I just have bad nausea

My dr told me 40 mg of b6 twice a day. All I could find at cvs and Walmart was 100mg. I bought a bottle of 50 mg on Amazon. I take the unisom only at night. I have had trouble sleeping my whole life. But I can’t handle the unisom in the morning!

I snapped them in half! Never needed the unisom, B6 alone worked well for me!

I did 100 mg 3 times a day for about 4 months but now it stopped working so I got zofran

You might be able to split the pill for the B6, but make sure that the type of pill you bought is the kind that can be split. Some vitamins and medication’s are time released so they cannot be split and it’s dangerous to do so. Make sure to call your pharmacist and ask them. Tell them what brand you got and they can tell you whether you can split it or not. Also, make sure you get regular Unisom. Yes it is a sleep aid, but it is used for nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, not for sleeping during pregnancy. It works very well along with the b6.
