Anyone else?

My LG is 5 months in one week and over the last few days she’s not been feeding at as well (EBF) and I’m just worrying 😩 she’s feeding for like 2 mins and then starts fussing and coming on and off my nipple. I know she won’t starve herself if she’s hungry but just worried and wondered if anyone else’s had similar experiences? She’s feeding fine at night too most nights she wakes up 2/3 times 🤷🏼‍♀️

I see a trend here I think our little ones are all starting a new developmental period. Mine is only eating a couple minutes and then wants to play. Agh! So many distractions around for his poor mind.

Yes 🙄 Mine is the exact same lately. I’m lucky if she eats a whole 10 minutes without getting distracted. And last night she woke up 6 dang times! Their brains are growing as this is just part of it :/

Same here🙋‍♀️ EBF, so not sure how much she consumes...but...My girl will find everything more interesting than eating... I have to take away all toys from her eyesight and ask my hubby to move to other side of the couch and not moving around, so nothing can distract us, and of course she will find that this fabric on the couch quite an interesting thing..🙄🤪 and I will be lucky if she will just stare at it and wont start trying to touch...the longest I was able to keep her on the breast its 5 minutes... oh welll.. I'm latching her whenever I can even if it will be for 1 or 2 minutes.. the downside of this my boobs sooo full all the time and she's sometimes choking from the flow when she decides to eat... but I weighed her and in 3 weeks we gained 700 grams, which is pretty good, so I just figured she knows what she needs better than me and just keep offering her to eat whenever I can😉
Also she loooves to wake up at night and chat with herself...and hates to go to sleep ( still falling asleep pretty fast, but omg screams as I'm start saying sweet dreams and closing curtains)

Fussy and violent nursing increases your supply. It's how your baby tells your boobs to "hurry up and make more". It's likely that your baby is going into a growth spurt or your supply may have dipped so your baby is trying to bring it back up. They typically nurse normally when tired if this is the reason.

I would just be careful if she’s not latching often bc your supply could tank. My baby had been so distracted barely eating during the day, I booked a gig (was gone for 3 hours), I wasn’t eating properly myself, etc and my supply drastically tanked. I pumped one morning before his feeding and only got 1.75 ounces combined !!!
