Hi Mommies. I need advice on how to discipline (or if I even should) my 4 yr old at night time. Every night he goes on a rampage because its bed time. He throws his toys and blankets off his bed. Also Hits me. This lasts about 10 mins and then he lays down and falls right to sleep.

In the daytime I can just take his favorite toys from him and put him on time out which works. At night time there’s nothing for me to take so I’m lost. It’s become repetitive. Do you recommend not letting him play the next day? I get confused because it’s a fresh new day and I don’t want to carry yesterday. I also understand he’s overwhelmed and overstimulated due to being tired so he can’t control himself that well. What makes this confusing for me is because I was abused as a child so I’m just trying to find the right ways to handle him.
