Please help mommas (long post)
My son was born 9/20. He is currently 15 lbs 7 oz.
-He wakes up around 7 am every morning.
-Stays awake for roughly an hour in between naps.
-only drinks 2 oz every 2 hours. Might get 3 oz if his nap went over a bit
-During the day his naps range 30 minutes to an 1 hour except for one nap at 2 pm that lasts 2 hours.
- bedtime routine around 6:30-7 which includes dim lights, bath, massage, and swaddle
- he is usually asleep by 745.
All this is fine with me lol. But after that it’s a nightmare.
He has slept until 10 pm on occasion but usually he only sleeps 1-2 hours. I swear after midnight it takes me longer to get him asleep than he actually sleeps. Usually when I’m up at 4 am he is laughing and wanting to play.
I really need help. I am alone right now with my son and my daughter (7). I also have PPD and I’m sure you know the lack of sleep isn’t helping. I am at my breaking point and I’m pleading for help.
I swaddle. I’ve tried different types of swaddles. I’ve tried to keep him up longer which was an absolute shit show. He has a noise machine. Tried gripe water. Essential oils too.
