Any advise ?
I’m 21 & I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 19.
I knew I had it before the age of 19. I never had constant cycles at all. Hair growth & all other things happened as good indicators.
I haven’t had a period in 2 years. Not even the slightest bit. I was put on provera , and even after taking it , still no cycles. I quit taking it after that.
My clinic sent me to the hospital to get labs done. The labs they drew showed that I was now releasing prolactin. They asked me to come back to the hospital to get a redraw done to see if it was an error. Sure enough the same results with a little higher level. They then tell me that I have to come back to get “further scans” done. At this time I didn’t have any medical insurance and I was going to a free clinic. I couldn’t get the scans done bc they are a bit expensive. That was around 6 months ago. I still haven’t had a period at all. I’m lost & I hurt all the time in my lower back & pelvic region. I just got insurance a couple days ago but it doesn’t start until January 2021.
Any advise ? Have anybody experienced this before ?
