Alexa for white noise?

Does anyone use an Alexa for white noise in baby’s room? Im wondering if it will play continuously or shut off after a certain amount of time.

We didnt do white noise as we wanted her to be able to sleep well while not at home as well.

I've been using Alexa for white noise. I used the Sleep Sounds 'skill.' It's only 60 minutes long, so every hour there's a pause. For a while I had access to the premium version, which gave 10 hours of continuous sound. For me, the biggest problem was internet connection - on a recent stormy night, we'd continuously lose WiFi so the sound would stop and baby would wake. I've now bought a separate machine.
Soooo I would say yes, if you have Alexa, you can use it for white noise. But don't buy it for this purpose (as I did!)

If you want that baby to be able to sleep on the go I don’t think anyone will recommend white noise! I use Netflix on a random series as background noise so it’s just like when we go places. It will play multiple episodes in a row sometimes giving you 6+ hours of uninterrupted background chatter and randomness so that the baby isn’t a light sleeper. Did this with both my siblings, and my nephew since I got custody of them, and I’ll definitely do for my baby.

Ours had like random breaks where it would replay the white noise. It also eventually turned off. We got a separate machine.
