We’ve just started using a Tommee Tippee prep machine but aren’t sure what amount we should put into the <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android">Glow app</a>.

When we set it to 5oz and put in five scoops of formula, it ends up producing 6oz once it’s in the bottle. We think that’s because mixing the formula with the water thickens it and so we end up with 6oz.

However, we’re not sure if that means it’s really a 5oz feed (because that’s the amount of water and the amount of formula we’ve put in) or a 6oz feed (because the liquid in the bottle is 6oz)

We want to make sure we’re feeding our daughter the right amount and also, whether it should be six scoops of formula if it’s going to end up being 6oz in the bottle. We want to make sure we’re getting the ratio right but aren’t sure.
