Weirdly controlling husband

My husband does weird things to be minimally controlling. Like for example, he was making tea and I asked if he was making tea. He said “I am only making one serving of caffeinated tea, (as in one for him, not for me) because I feel like you have trouble getting to sleep on time at night.”

It’s 1:30 in the afternoon..... not 7 at night. And why are you making that decision for me...? Like from one adult to another, I’m your wife not your daughter dude. So weird to me. Maybe I’m exhausted from running after our 3 children all day and would love it if you made me a cup also when you made yourself one. I mean if I really want a cup of tea I have no issue making my own, I’m just bothered because he was being controlling and assertive for no reason. Like ok there buddy take a deep breath and get over this low key passive power trip you’re having.

It’s not like he’s just trying to be considerate either because he does this with other things too.
