Baby girls?

Ladies, how much do your baby girls weigh?? My pediatrician is already trying to tell me that my daughter is ‘too big’ she just turned 4 months on the 11th, and at her last visit she weighted 13.5 pounds. They also weighed her with her clothes on so I’m sure it’s a tad less. But I figured she was right on target with her weight! Going back for another appt on the 22nd and I’m sure they’ll bring her weight up again :/

Thanks everyone! This pediatrician has definitely not made me happy in the slightest with ANY visits! Actually, pretty much their entire office has me unhappy. I’ve been blown off repeatedly with concerns, only to have ended up being correct, and my daughter needing to be seen immediately. Now after being told this, I am not happy! My husband and I are actually moving very soon and I’ve already started searching for a new pediatrician!

Too big? That’s silly. Mine is 4 month and weighs 15 lbs. I don’t even think mine is too big.

4 months this past 11th, 14 pounds exactly. She’s in the 55th percentile for weight. I don’t your daughter is too big. Perhaps it’s time to seek out another pediatrician. Especially if the one you take your child to make you feel bad.

No way your baby is too big! My daughter is 4.5 months and 17.5 lbs. She's 90th percentile for height and weight. My pediatrician said nothing in regards to her weight, just happy healthy baby girl. No worries, mama!

You need a different ped because they sound like an idiot. At 4 months my daughter was 13 lbs 15 oz and she’s only in the 46th percentile

Lol my daughter turned 4 months on the 5th and she weighs over 17lbs. She’s a chunk but my doctor prefers them being on the chubby side so they got some puffer for when they get sick and won’t eat.
Her big sister was very similar to this and I was never told my kids were “too big”

My now two year old girl was 14lbs 12oz at her 4 month check up and my doctor said she was healthy.
