We’re going to wait until after the anatomy scan to announce publicly, probably around 24 weeks (viability). With my first I announced at 35 weeks with my boudoir maternity pics (“Felt cute, might have a baby later, idk” lol). 
This time our families know, but only a few close friends are in the loop (we were going to tell my husband’s larger friend circle around 12 weeks, but a couple in the group just lost their baby at 22 weeks, so giving it some time out of respect for their loss).

I'm waiting until after the holidays. It's my baby's first birthday this month and I don't want anything to overshadow her big day. Also, I had a scare at my daughter's anatomy scan, it was a misdiagnosis, but all the same, I will wait until after that to announce our second 💕

Nope, we didn’t last time either. Just told all our family and close friends around the 13 week mark and then just as we saw other people along the way. My thinking is that I don’t need every single person on my Facebook account knowing and all the important people in our lives already know, but that’s just me ☺️ everybody does it differently! We still did an ‘announcement photo’ but we only gave it to family and kept if for ourselves
