My period is a mess so no, it’s normal with the implant. When I first got it in, I had a very light period for the first couple months, then I bled for a month non-stop, then I regularly had periods for a few months, then they stopped for 3 months and then I had a period and then another one 2 weeks later 🤷‍♀️

I did the same thing. I would have a period for about 2 weeks, stop for anywhere from 2/3 days up to a week, then bleed for another 2 weeks. That went on for a year. I finally said screw it and got it taken out.

I just got mine in not to long ago and just got my first period since having my son and it’s lasting more then 7days so far! (light/ medium spotting some cramps) So weird I’m wondering the same question as you. I’m also waiting for a response from my ob to know it’s I should be concerned or not!
