I turn 20 on Sunday. In January I am moving out for school. My mother wants me to stay home all weekend because it is my birthday. However I want to leave and come back Sunday morning. She is trying to guilt trip me into staying the whole weekend because it's my birthday weekend and she wants to spend time with me. It's my birthday weekend and I would like to see my boyfriend. I would still be back Sunday morning.

I also don't want to be home this weekend because my mother recently let her cousin move in and I can not stand him. With it being my birthday weekend I would like to not have to be around him.

Am I in the wrong for wanting to leave this weekend or would it be fine to leave?
