Anyone’s baby starting to sit? How can we help?

My little guy is starting to sit. He can go for a couple minutes unassisted but then he’ll just tumble over lol. How can I encourage and help him learn how to do it? I never tried with my daughter cause she showed no signs of sitting and then randomly one day just started doing it! My boys trying so hard to sit and crawl and I have no idea how to teach him? He’s 4 and a half months so he does have time but he just gets so frustrated it makes me sad

Our little man has been sitting proficiently since 3.5 months 😳 We put a boppy on the floor around his legs like in this photo so if he ends up losing his balance, he doesn’t smack his head on the floor, lol. He almost always topples backwards when he loses his balance. Other than that, just keep him working at it and make sure there’s no sharp corners or toys around him, so if he does fall over, he doesn’t hurt himself. Our baby went from sitting unassisted for a couple of minutes before falling to sitting unassisted and correcting his balance by himself so he doesn’t fall over as much within a couple of weeks.

We got him these little pianos to help him sit. He loves them. Mostly started by sitting on our laps. Then progressed to on the floor between our legs. And now he can do it on his own. Took about a month
