We had to move and obviously had to get a new ob. Literally every appt I have had with them has been rescheduled or running 55 min behind schedule. All the obs here deliver their patients babies at the hospitals so understand they have to leave a lot but they have no NPs or other doctors to cover appts so it has been a annoying fiasco. We are an hour from the office and the last 3 days they have called 5 min before I am due to check in and said they have to reschedule. So I have driven 6+ hours this week to not have my scheduled appt. We don't have a lot of options so gonna stay here but is irritating that we have to have someone leave work early to watch our other kids while I do a 2 hr drive to have them continually rescheduled. Maybe just being annoyed because i am pregnant but tired of making long ass round trips in awful winter weather to not be seen lol.

Edit: maybe not clear...there are 7 doctors at this office but you are a patient of 1 and your doctor delivers your baby. The only reason another doctor would deliver is if yours is on vacation or in a surgery when you are in labor. But they don't have any NPs to cover doctors leaving for deliveries and don't schedule a doctor to cover appts for gone docs or a doctor just for the office. So there are other doctors here but it is the same for every doctor. They all leave when needed so appts get canceled or moved. I wish they would have an NP or 2 or a doctor that covers appts that doctors have to leave for just so there isn't all the rescheduling during busy baby seasons (like right now with pandemic babies). Other doctors will take appts if they have openings but are all fully booked most times so super rare for it to happen and most important get rescheduled there first.
