Can ear piercing infection affect baby during pregnancy?

So I got my ears pierced two weeks  ago and one side is swollen and there’s a fine lump behind in on my neck. I’m 16 weeks pregnant, should I go to the doctors or wait a few days to see if it goes down ?

It could. They say not to get piercings while pregnant for this reason. No reputable place will pierce you while pregnant

I would go to the doctors. If the infection is left untreated and gets into your blood it could potentially cause a miscarriage or a premature birth. Not trying to scare you and I’m not a physician but better to be safe than sorry. And you obviously want to tell the provider you’re pregnant so they can prescribe an antibiotic that is safe during pregnancy. Best of luck to you!
