My dog (25 lb beagle) chewed up/ate three tubes of Burts Bees chapstick on Wednesday. It looked like all the plastic was still there, just chewed up, so we kept and eye on him that day. He’s been pooping normal, no signs of plastic in his poop. He’s eating normal, playing normal. No sign that anything was wrong. Apparently I was wrong about all the plastic being there though and this morning when he pooped in the house (VERY unlike him) and there was a pretty big piece of plastic in it. He had diarrhea later on his walk but no blood in it or anything. He’s still acting totally normal. Ate his breakfast like usual this morning, he’s drinking and playing.

My SO thinks he’s fine, but I’m worried now and thinking we should bring him into the emergency vet.
