Linea Nigra Pain?

Question

repeat customers pls advise:
15+5 and i think my linea nigra is coming in, i think this because theres a stretchy kind of pain right down the center of my belly, feels like i over-stretched during warmups or something when im just laying comfortably in bed.
i dont think its round ligament pain bc thats been more towards my sides and this is straight down the middle.
1) is this the time frame it begins to form?
2) is it supposed to hurt?

I’ve never heard of it causing pain. It’s just skin darkening. 
I’m pretty sure that pain is something different.

From what I recall with my first, there was no pain associated with it. It was just something that randomly showed up. As for timing, I believe it’s different for all moms and can show at any point in pregnancy. I got mine around 30 weeks with my first. 
The pain in the center could very likely still be considered round ligament pain which is causing stretching pains. I too get pain in the center of my belly and near my belly button and it can sometimes be tender to the touch. Just normal growing and stretching pains.

I’ve never heard of it hurting, it’s just a dark line you get down your belly. I would say maybe it’s your ab muscles separating (diastasis recti), but seems way too early for that as the top of your uterus hasn’t even made it up to your belly button yet.
