Hello! I started taking birth control pills for the first time a month ago. I planned to skip the placebo week and just pick up my next prescription but I got too busy and decided to take the placebo pill until I could get a refill. I have been told most women have light

periods but the past two days have been HELL! This is the heaviest bleeding I’ve ever experienced and the painful cramps make me dizzy and shaky. None of my usual tricks work like taking baths or heating pads. Please let me know if this is a possible symptom of birth control. Does anyone have any tips? My pharmacy is closed tomorrow and I don’t think I can take another day of this😭

(I also started taking Zoloft at the same time as I started BC in case that might have something to do with it.)
