How do you pronounce Teagan?

Follow up on another poll!  I just had a friend tell me to be prepared for people having trouble with her name. That people would call her Tay-gan when I’ve always thought that spelling was universally pronounced Tee-gan

I have a friend who spells her name Tegan and pronounces it Tay-gan (like Megan with a T). People alwaaaayyyyyysssss mispronounce it like Tee-gan and it annoys her so much.
Whenever I see it spelled Teagan I mentally pronounce it Tee-gan.

My niece is Teagan, never heard anyone call her Tay-gen.

I would say Tee-gan. But one of my childhood friends was named Meagan and it was pronounced May-gan (like Megan). So you could run into confusion occasionally, but I don’t think it would be common.
People call me Cat or Catlin sometimes, so I don’t think any name is foolproof.
