Hi the dna test came back negative and I’m just waiting to do another ultrasound to check the baby growth as my doctor thinks that I have placenta issues

Hi i did the ultrasound he said the baby measurement is really small for 17 weeks its shows that he’s two weeks behind and that he didn’t found any up-normality with the baby except Echogenic bowel he also wanted to do the amino fluids he insert the needle inside but the baby moved and he couldn’t take the fluid and i have to wait 2weeks to check again and see if the baby grows and do the amino again

Sorry to hear you’ll have to wait 2 weeks. Thinking of you! The amnio will give you the most definitive results so that you don’t have to guess or assume. ❤️

Hi, I can share my experience.- I did the Penta bloodwork screen at 15w and it came back high risk for DS (1:115)- Then I did the QNatal blood test, which came back inconclusive due to Low Fetal Fraction. This could mean that I was still higher risk for chromosome abnormalities OR just a poor sample was taken, or maternal obesity plays a role (I’m considered overweight).- I re-did the QNatal test but while waiting for results my doctor recommended doing amniocentesis. I did the amnio. I received initial results of low risk/normal for T13, T18, T21/DS. My re-draw bloodwork also just came back as low risk for all three. I completely understand your worry and stress! I will add: we did an anatomy scan at 18w and that looked perfect w no markers. That was reassuring while waiting for test results. Good luck with everything— you will be okay!
