Hi all,

I had a scan today to check the growth of my bean, which showed I have polycystic ovaries - which explains months of unanswered questions! Ive never been diagnosed as I’m very slim build and had regular periods. My mum had PCOS.

I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice on pregnancy with PCOS? Is there anything I need to look out for etc?

Ive read that we are at higher risk of miscarriage.

The dr today said that the midwife will explain everything I need to know at 12 weeks but I’m concerned to wait a whole month! She seemed very Blasé about the whole thing. Just congratulated me on “conceiving naturally with PCOS as it can be a struggle”

Any advice would be great.
