⚠️ TMI ⚠️ Is there anyone else that deals with this??

Heather

I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was a teenager, 17, I think. But I started my period very young. So I've been dealing with horrendous periods for about 20 years. Every period seems worse than the last, especially this last year. I'm 32. Nothing new has happened except the stress from trying to keep my family safe in a pandemic as a front line worker.

A little TMI for necessary info: my periods generally last 5 days. First day is light-spotting middle 3 is damn near a faucet of gore, then almost every time it just stops for a day and then comes back for one more day. So I guess technically you could consider that 6 days. But it’s 5 days of actual menstruating. The last couple months ive noticed that on particularly heavy days i get lightheaded, woozy, dizzy, winded and lethargic way more than ever before. This morning, and again I'm sorry ⚠️ TMI ⚠️ I woke up at 4 am passing a clot the size of a chihuahua. This is not unusual for me. Happens a couple times per period. But this actually woke me up because I could feel it pass followed by several other littler ones. I suffer from AWFUL cramps, like id rather give birth 10 times with no meds then have these cramps (yes, I'm dramatic). But it's so much more than cramps. Exhaustion to bone. I get cramps the worst before i pass big clots like this and sometimes it really does feel like I'm delivering.

I'm just wondering if there is anyone is that feels this way or goes through this? What do you do for pain management and/or clot control?
