MAM bottles - opinion?

Any comments/ thoughts on MAM bottles? (:  we’re trying to switch from dr browns since the insets are SO annoying to change. He’s latched onto the MAM but just want to hear peoples thoughts / comments.

MAM works well for us. My daughter likes the #2 flow nipple. I really like how you can stack all the parts together to self sterilize in the microwave.

I used Dr Browns with our first and yes it gets super annoying washing/sterilizing all the parts. Which is why we are using MAM this time. We have had no issues so far. However; our baby only has a bottle 1-2X a week. The only thing to look out for with MAM is to make sure the bottom is screwed on properly so you don’t end up with milk/formula leaking everywhere.

I used dr brown with my first and swore them off after cleaning them for so long. I LOVE the mam bottles. They are super easy to clean don’t give baby gas and since the bottom comes off and the top you don’t even need a bottle brush for them. You do have to make sure the lining part is pushed all the way down into the bottom and that the bottom is screwed on tightly or they leak but I’ve only had that happen twice where it spilled. Definitely recommend

My son loves the shape of the mam pacifiers snd bottles and my daughter hates it and will only take round nipples.

I didn’t like them but I think my daughter just really didn’t know how to latch onto them very well which caused a lot leaking all over her. I swear she’d end up wearing half her bottle and we used the size 0 flow nipple so I know it wasn’t too fast for her she just didn’t latch onto it very well which also caused her to spit up more and take in more air which caused more gas. The shape is also kind of bulky to me. Especially if you have a smaller diaper bag. (I use a backpack diaper bag) figured out I prefer the tall skinny bottles. And I figure if she ever wants to hold her own bottle the skinnier ones would be easiest my first was never interested in holding her bottle so we’ll see with this baby lol It took a lot of trial and error to find a bottle me and my baby like.

Just ordered some mam bottles today. My daughter liked the nipple when we tried them. The only thing is I agree with other comment. Make sure the bottom is screwed right
