Sweep success stories?

Had my membrane sweep done today at 38.2! 
I started at 1 cm and 50% effaced.. lost a good amount of mucus since the sweep! Does anybody have any success stories?

I was 39 weeks when  I had it done with my 2 child . My doctor said if baby is ready this is like a little kick start for them and sometimes babies need that . I got my memberane sweep done around 2-3 pm  that day and 30 minutes after my appointment I started getting contractions . I ended having my bloody show that night and my contractions progressed . If it works for you , you will start to notice the contractions picking up in speed and strength . I also remember spotting a lot after having it done my doctor is a male and he said he did an aggressive sweep . Good luck 👍🏼

It only really works if baby is ready and closer to your due date. With my first I had it done at 40+5 and had him at 41weeks. With my second I had it done at 39+6 and had him at 40weeks.

38weeks. Sweep at noon. Labor by 8p.m. Baby born 8 the next night!
