When did you ladies wax or shave after c-section ?

Planning on waiting a little more but ugh I’m the type I cannot go long with hair down there 🤷🏼‍♀️ 3 weeks and few days postpartum. You think 5 weeks would be ok to wax ( I don’t shave , and nothing against it but not my thing ) ? So how long did you ladies go without waxing or shaving after c-section  ? Thanks ❤️

I would wait until your Dr clears you for sex and ask them at that appt. God that could be horrific if it went wrong.

I waited until I was fully healed- I didn’t feel comfortable going near the scar for a couple months. In the meantime I used a beard trimmer to keep things tidy and feel a bit more “myself”

I got waxed about 8 weeks after. It was ok

I waited until my incision was pretty well healed. I didn’t want to risk cutting it and it getting infected.

I can't remember exactly when but I waited a long time with my 1st for the same fear and then was back at it pretty quickly with my 2nd. I just shaved everywhere and left a strip of hair over the incision so that I could wait to shave it until it was fully healed. I can't stand having hair either so it was hard to wait.
