When should my period come?

I just had my baby via csection on November 11 and been bleeding and spotting but now it seems to be completely gone. I was breastfeeding for a little but now I’m strictly pumping. When should I expect to get my period!? I’ve heard that you don’t get your period until you’ve stopped nursing/pumping! Is that true? Does that mean you basically need to stop pumping to get pregnant?

Everyone is different, I did not get my period until three months after I stopped breastfeeding.

I got my period only 2 months after my csection and I was pumping the whole time. It was a normal period just a little more cramping than before.
