Gestational diabetes and successful VBAC?

Hi- this will be my 2nd VBAC but first time
With gd. Has anyone had a successful VBAC with gd or induction? Thanks

So my 1st was vaginal, 2nd c section for breech, and my 3rd I had GD and ended up with a successful VBAC. My midwife said she wouldn't induce me, but she encouraged me to get things going at home. I was walking a mile a day my whole pregnancy, prepping my body with red raspberry leaf capsules and then at 36 weeks she had me start pumping. I had spontaneous labor at 37+3 and had a 7lb 14oz baby. 
I was a little stressed because I was going to need to schedule a c section on my due date at my next appointment just in case and it was the last thing I wanted. I think keeping myself active really helped things get moving faster.

I haven’t but can’t see why it wouldn’t be possible.
Plenty of women have GD and vaginal births

My doctor said they try not to induce for vbacs because there is an increase in risk of uterine rupture with medication thats used. You can always ask what the increase in risk actually is. I want to say my ob recommends having a c section over a vbac if you get GD but is willing to try if you understand the risk.

I know this post is older but with my last baby I had GD and had a very successful vbac. I’m definitely trying for a vbac for this baby too
