So about a month ago I filed for child support for my children’s father. He hasn’t seen them since may & hasn’t even asked about them since august. After a lot of thinking, I realized it’s better off for my children that he’s not in their life. He’s very unreliable & I don’t trust that my children would be safe with him. I put in to cancel the child support, probably 2 weeks after applying for it. Yesterday, a sheriff stopped by my house, I wasn’t home, & left me a voicemail saying it’s regarding child support? I’ve never heard of this happening. I called back but no answer. Has this happened to anyone else?
