I started with bananas after cereal and they were too sweet for him and then we did sweet potatoes and he’s obsessed and then pears he hated so I think I’m gonna go veggies for now and then wait on fruits because if bananas were too sweet for him any fruit will be lol

We started with veggies, carrots then sweet potatoes, for all my kids. We didn’t do any baby rice cereal.

We were advised to do vegetable purees first. 2/3 veggies 1/3 potato 1tablespoon vegetable oil (like olive oil,...)
Our boy LOVES zucchini puree and carrot puree and parsnip puree.
We started with carrot first.
He doesn't like celeriac puree.. Unfortunately 1 celeriac is huge and I have a lot of that in the freezer 😔 sorry baby.

Ive heard to start with veggies (savory) first, due to risking your little one rejecting veggies if you introduce fruits (sweet) too early.

We’re BLWing. I avoid sweet things like fruit early on as much as possible because our tongues have a predisposition to sweets.
