Does your doctor pull down pants for fundal height?

I'm always wearing thin leggings. If I see a nurse or assistant, they just feel for my pelvic bone to measure my stomach but every single time I see the actual doctor, he pulls my pants down to uncover my underwear before feeling for the bone. 
Does your doctor do this too? I can't remember how it was with my first at a different doctor, it just seems weird that he's the only one to do it?

I pull mine down to the pubic line. They do the doppler at the same time so it's just easier if I do it. They measure from the pubic line (bottom of uterus) to just under my breasts (top of uterus).

Normal. I pull my pants down and for some reason I never pull them down far enough so my midwife pulls them down low low.

Same with the other ladies, I pull my leggings down and my dr pulls it down further if necessary to feel/measure from the appropriate place..

I always pull them down and then she usually just pulls them down a little further until she can feel the bottom of my uterus. My dr has done that and so has any NP I’ve seen.

I think it's weird that he pulls it down. He should ask you to pull it down yourself if needed.
