Has anyone told your Big News??!

I ran into my cousins girlfriend at my 1st appointment yesterday. 🙃 i clearly asked her not to tell anyone yet, ive had miscarriages before so i WAS wanting to wait until i had a ultrasound & 2nd trimester because lets face it anything can happened first 12 weeks... well i get a text this morning she has told 2 of my cousins, one of my cousins told one of my aunts... its like can why would you spread someone else's news!! Heck she waited until she was 5 months too tell the world. Its just really annoying how someone has the nerve to start spreading it when you haven't even felt comfortable telling anyone. **rant over** is anyone else going thru this??!
**Update. I did end up texting her about it about 7 hours ago.. & still no response. Smh

I’m sorry that is so rude of her! I would be upset too. It’s your news to share not hers! I have a close friend that would do this same thing, for that reason she doesn’t get to know until I tell everyone.

I went through the same thing. We told my husbands sister because she’s an ultrasound tech and did our 8 week ultrasound and then she started telling a bunch of people I was pregnant and so a good friend of my mom’s came to my mom annoyed that she hadn’t told her I was pregnant even though no one was even supposed to freaking know. My sister in law’s sister in law also messaged me on Facebook congratulating me on the baby and I so I know it was getting leaked to multiple people. I wasn’t very happy. This is my first pregnancy so I’ve been super nervous and was very cautious with who I told and made sure to only tell people I would want to tell I had a miscarriage should I end up having one so some of closest friends didn’t even know and I didn’t want them to hear it from the rumor mill and so I was forced to tell more people before I was ready to make sure they heard it from me.

I wanted to wait until 12 weeks at minimum but nobody could keep their mouths shut. My husband told all his friends, my mother in law told everyone who would listen even after we told her not to, my mother told people and my best friend told her mom. The only people who didn’t say a thing was my dad and my other friend. 
It’s so frustrating. I told these people because I thought I could trust them. I tried for 3 years to get pregnant and wanted to wait so we could be sure that the chances that anything could happen were low but people had different ideas in mind. It really took a lot of joy away from me

This happened to me too!! Was so pissed! Was going to announce on Christmas and that night after people kept texting me. Was mad they didn’t find out first or from me. - I didn’t even want to tell her, it just slipped and I asked her not to say a word. She told my aunt my aunt told my other aunt and my aunt told 6 people the. Texted me a day after she knew rubbing it my face.... then giving me shit for telling them and not her first. Needless to say I had to quickly do the announcement right then and there and send it out before anyone else found out MY NEWS! And not from me!!! 😤😤

I understand! My husband and I lost our daughter at 15 weeks so we weren’t wanting to say anything until our ultrasounds and we were in the clear. We only announced to our parents and siblings. Well my MIL announced to her whole family before we did our big announcement. Super annoying. She made it all about her so now we know who not to tell with our gender reveal. Lol

Not going through this but I can totally understand being upset by this! That’s a huge overstep and I’m really sorry it happened to you. If I was you, I would approach her and let her know it’s really unappreciated. But I also understand wanting to avoid confrontation. So sorry and hope you still get to surprise lots of people!
