UTI or STD?

So I’m having really bad burning and frequent urination. No other side effects. Doctor did a whole STD panel and I’m awaiting the results but until then I need relief!! They put me on doxycycline

Depends, have you had unprotected sex recently? Both UTIs and STDs share similar symptoms so there is no way of knowing until your results come back (I hope they also tested your urine too). Another possibilty is thrush, this can cause unpleasant stinging/burning.
