I was induced with our 37 weeker due to preclampsia and delivered last night. He's in the nicu for his lungs not being 100% and has a breathing tube in to give him meds for his lungs. I had the steroid shots 2 weeks ago but apparently that didn't help enough. I'm devastated that I'll be leaving the hospital without him tomorrow. I'm thinking it will be a week before he comes home. Anyone ever go through this? How long was your nicu stay?

Update: They're doing antibiotics just as a precaution while they wait for bloodwork to get back this afternoon, and there doing cultures to make sure he doesn't have one, and they're giving another dose of the lung meds in the breathing tube.
