Recently diagnosed with PCOS
Hi all,
Hopefully you will stay to read the back story to my situation.
In November 2019 I came off my pill. I had a period December, January and then nothing until April. I ovulated on day 21 of my cycle and concieved. Sadly, this ended in MC on 30th May (I was nearly 6 weeks).
Since this, I had no period again (still haven't- nearly 7 months) so recently, my husband and I went private were I have been diagnosed with PCOS (AMH of 154- 36 follicles on one side and 47 on the other). I do not struggle with weight etc so nurse said it's a strange one. My husband's sperm analysis came back with double the amount he needs but slower swimmers.
We are now waiting until the end of Feb (when he will have been taking vitamins to help improve his sperm for 3 months) and if this has improved, we they will start me on clomid. If not, our best chances are with IVF and ICSI.
My questions are: Has anyone got any tips for helping ovulation in these 2 months I have to wait?
Has anyone else's husband sperm improved after taking vitamins?
Did any of you respond well to clomid even with such a high AMH?
So sorry for the huge story and thanks in advance if you took the time to read it 😊
