Would it be weird if I texted him to say merry Christmas?

So I matched with a guy on a dating app in January. Talked all the way through lockdown and finally in August went on two dates.

Then he ignored my texts for 3 weeks and told me he wants to chat in a friendly and casual way and can’t reply more than once every 2 weeks.

I told him I needed better communication than that otherwise I don’t see the point. I wished him well and he said I can text him anytime if I wanted to (basically contradicting what he said).

Anyway, it’s been 3 months and we haven’t spoken. I do miss him. Would it be weird to send a merry Christmas message or should I just leave it??
