Is interest and attraction the same thing?

Say I go on a date with a guy and he seems attracted to me, we kiss and there’s chemistry. But then he doesn’t make any effort and takes ages to reply, people will say he’s not interested but is that the same as not being attracted?
And why would a guy not be interested in a girl he’s attracted to?

Attraction is outside. Interest is inside. Be might think you're hot, but not on the same page on a more personal level.

I see interest as wanting to get to know them better and be with them but attraction is them finding you visually appealing like physical attraction and sexual attraction. You can be physically attracted to someone without genuinely being interested in them and wanting to get to know them well. Like you’re interested in hooking up and that’s all
