Red blood five days pp?

Is it normal to have red blood five days post part I’m after c-section? Everything says it should be lighter by day 3. There’s not a lot of it, I’m not soaking pads at all, it’s just still bright red.

I’m 10 days pp and still having bleeding. My grandma used to be some kind of nurse, she says it’s normal so long as you’re not filling up any pads in an hour

Yeah you can bleed non stop for over 6 weeks

I bled for weeks...maybe even a month. The doc and nurse were surprised but said it happens

Normal, bleeding can last up to 6 weeks, just like vaginal birth.
