Baby Monitor Recommendations??

Hii mamas! I am a first time mom and wondering what baby monitor i should get in caught between the Owlet and Nanit but i also am open for recommendations

FTM here with baby due in March. I have 3 friends and my sister in law who all had the owlet sock and love it but recommended against the owlet camera since it tends to have issues. I got the owlet sock on sale during Black Friday and since then I’ve been doing a ton of research for a camera with Nanit being the one most recommended. I do have a friend who loves her nanit but she’s a data person and loves all the sleep insights. After extensive reviews and asking on a moms Facebook community my choice is the following and here’s why:
I went with the infant optics DXR-8 5 inch. The Nanit was way too expensive for things that weren’t important to me like sleep insights which I don’t really care for. I just want to be able to hear and see my baby. Also it doesn’t come with a monitor, it’s all through your phone so you need to make sure you’re always connected and on WiFi. I prefer having a physical monitor. Since it will be on in the background of your phone, it will drain your battery. I also was not going to get the sleep sack to measure babies breathing since the sock will already measure oxygen levels. 
The infant optics monitor does not operate with wifi so for me, it makes me feel better since I’ve heard of instances where creeps hack into the camera. I’ve also read a ton of great reviews and like I mentioned, it was the most recommended to me by moms in my March 2021 community.

We had the owlet sock and it was awesome! We got one refurbished, because it was cheaper but it worked amazingly. I used it mostly to track my sons sleep because he was a horrible sleeper for the first few months and it showed me where he was getting the most sleep and I was able to adjust nap times so that he slept almost the night through. We never had any problems with it until my son got older and was able to kick it off in the middle of the night.
