Car seat travel tray

Question

Does anyone use a car seat travel tray? My LO will be a year next week and still hates the car seat , looking for something to keep her occupied, most of them come with a sleeve where you can put a iPad to watch videos, Or any other suggestions to keep her occupied in the car ?

Look up @safeintheseat on Instagram. She’s a car seat safety consultant and I believe she said those trays aren’t safe. She might have other tips for keeping children occupied on long trips. Good luck ❤️

I just got back from a long road trip with a one year old. I just had a variety of toys I would switch out to keep her busy. Lots of snacks too. I have a tablet holder for the seat rest so I played Sesame Street a lot. I put a baby app on my old phone so that would work for a couple minutes then she would move on to something else
