We introduced the potty to our daughter and them let her take the lead. She was fully trained 3 months shy of 3.

Every child is different. My daughter was super easy and fully potty trained by 2 with no pull ups or accidents

Fully commit to underwear all the time, not pull-ups or diapers sometimes (just confuses them on expectations) use treats, communicate in a positive and understanding/encouraging way and let them take control as much as possible. It helped my daughter a lot to hear from me that I know it’s a big change and it’s hard but this is what we’re doing - no more diapers, just like mom and dad! And to give her a stool and seat and sit near the door in the bathroom instead of hovering over her so she had more independence.

My first was HARD HEADED AND STUBBORN. She was potty trained at about 3 and a half. Fully potty trained even at night by 5. I gave her her favorite cookie, or fruit, or a sucker after she went. Same with going poop (which took longer!) Just stick with it! Be consistent, set a timer for every 30 minutes and sit in there with her. I also did potty dances after every time she went and did a big celebration. Whatever made her happy and feel like a big girl. Lol. Also got her a minnie mouse potty and potty seat for the adult toilet. She loved minnie at that time.

Potty time signing time has a great video and app. We play the celebrate song when she goes and we dance she loves it and took the lead.

I’m struggling with my 3 year old

My daughter just became fully potty trained in October just 3 months shy of being 3. She started using the potty at 1.5 but hated pooping on it and she resisted when I tried to potty train her earlier. This time around I used small bribes like temporary tattoos or stickers for like 3 days to get her to use the potty every time and after that she didn't need the little bribes and would use the potty on her own without being asked or reminded.
