6w with ovarian cyst! Anyone experienced?

Hello guys! I had my first GYN appointment yesterday and heard the heartbeat nd saw the beanie! But also they said I have a huge 5cm ovarian cyst in my left ovary. The doctor didn’t seem much worries as she said it occurs during pregnancy and should go on it’s own by 3-4 months. Only problem is if it increases in size or causes my ovary to twist. Anyone experienced the same ? When did it resolve ?

Could it be a corpus luteum? Usually a cyst that’s develops after ovulation that helps the baby develop while the placenta grows. Look it up. Maybe that. I was told I had a corpus luteum thinking it was a cyst that wasn’t good.

I had one burst when I was around 8 weeks with my first. Everything was fine and she is a healthy almost 9 yr old now 😊

Mine grew to 10cm, never went away but never caused me any problems. Baby was breech until 39 weeks so they just took the cyst out during my c section. I made my husband take pictures. Soooo gross 😜
