Hi Glow Community! I need your advice. I am 28 years old and my husband and I got married in September. He is my anchor and I feel so lucky to have him. Since we were young, we have dreamed of having kids. We are both teachers and have always dreamed about having a family one day. I know that we are newlyweds and this is our 5th month trying to conceive, but it hurts when other loved ones say that “we shouldn’t rush things” or “babies can wait” or “you need to be together for a few years first.” I know that this is all out of love and it doesn’t make me love these friends any less, but what I can say to kindly and respectfully tell them that we are going to keep trying to build the family that we want?
