Have you and your significant other had sex since having baby?

My husband and I have yet to have sex. I've been cleared for weeks and he knows this. I'm thinking about instigating it but I don't want to if he isn't ready or make him feel bad for not asking sooner. What's your experience?

I was 2 weeks pp and was so horny I basically dived on him 😂😂 have done it daily since then. You can always try instigate it and see how he feels. If hes not ready yet then that's okay, you never know he may not of instigated himself as he may feel like you are not ready and doesn't want to push you into it x

100% have to talk to each other. The first time isnt exactly sexy and spontaneous. I was told by my midwife to use a lot of lube, warn my partner they may need to stop, tell them to go slow at first, etc... it can hurt or it wont but you have to communicate.

We had sex for the first time last week (9 weeks pp) and once I got over my fear and relaxed it was great, but my sex drive has been pretty much non existent even still after giving birth

I have bled since the birth. Now on my first period again. Waiting for it to end and then FINALLY able to have sex. It has been verrrry long! Only had sex twice when pregnant as it was too uncomfortable x

11 weeks PP 😩😩 we talk about it all the time though and can’t wait to return to our normal sex life pre pregnancy when I’m finally ready  🙌🏼

My husband and I spoke about it first. There was a nervousness on both sides but we acknowledged that. So the first time we went slow and it didn’t hurt at all for me. Since then we have been having sex about 3 times a week.

Talk to him about it. Or try to instigate it and see his that goes. We’ve had sex a bunch and have been having sex since like 4 weeks postpartum.
