Irregular cycles/Discharge and Vaginal Pain

Just trying to see if anyone else has experienced these symptoms.

I’ve never had much luck with my periods over the years. Always painful and heavy- very regular.

A year after my daughter was born, I started having irregular cycles- sometimes getting them weeks apart, some very late. Then came this discharge. Originally, it was like oxidized blood (dark brown/dark red) and thick/sticky with my cycles. Then my cycles were just like very light, dark maroon type blood- almost didn’t need to wear anything. GYN and Endocrine doctors said it was hormonal and to get on the pill. But, I have blood pressure issues and just didn’t want to be on the pill. This lasted for 4-5 months.

The problem actually went away for 6-7 months- my periods were not quite normal. Still light and erratic. But, no weird discharge.

Last December, it started again and hasn’t stopped since. I’ve been to a GYN twice- started the pill in April— with no improvement and then about three months ago— it would have appeared that I had a clogged gland on one of my labia (it was so swollen and painful). I saw him again but was directed to do sitz baths. It did go down but I have had vaginal pain since. My discharge is turning weirder shades of brown/ dark, dark reds- thick and continues about a week after my cycle stops.

I’m scared. Any help?
