Cracked and sore nipples that won’t get better!

I saw a lactation specialist because I thought my baby was latching wrong and that’s why it was so painful. She sat and helped me feed for an hour. I thought that would fix the issue, but the pain and cracking has gotten worse! I literally cry every time he feeds. It only hurts the first couple sucks, and then it gets better while he feeds the rest of the time. He is a week and a half and I just feel like I can’t do it anymore. I use lanolin oil after each feed. I’ve tried rubbing my breast milk on them. I keep a shirt and bra off around the house so they can breath. Ive tried a warm and cold compress. I don’t know what else to do. Please help! I don’t want to stop because Of this😩
