How much water in your LO drinking?

How much water is your LO drinking? And is it out of a silly cup or bottle?

Not really any. I offer a sippy cup with water but he just plays with it and chews on the mouth piece lol.

We put 1-2 ounces in a sippy cup when she’s in a high chair.  It’s mostly entertainment or ends up all over her. But just offer it to introduce her to new things. Her main source of diet is still formula and purée.

We give him a sippy cup with solids. He likes it. He probably drinks 1-2 oz depending on the day. If he is teething he just gnaw on the cup.

We offer water in a sippy cup three times a day, after every time he has solids. It depends on what he eats how much he drinks. I actually never checked and also, half of what comes out the cup is not due to drinking it.

My son is super interested. I give him a few sips when he gets solids, but it’s not much. He’s done sippy cup and open cup (he got a couple little open cups for Christmas). He will also lunge for my water cup when I drink and I’ve let him have a taste and he does great when I hold it for him.

I’ve been wondering if I needed to start offering water! Her doctor didn’t say anything when we talked about starting solids.

I have to watch her to keep her below 4 oz daily, she drinks from her open cup, my cup, my water bottle, the bath... girl looves her water!

She has the option when she eats dinner with us in case she needs to wash something down, but doesn't drink it regularly. Every once in a while.
