I asked this question 2 days, but did not receive an actual response.

If I’m trying to get full custody of our child, what must I do first ? Do I call family court or do I go in ? Is there paper work that I fill out before ? I’m completely lost as to what needs to be done when it comes to the court.

Here’s some info-

We are not married and have not lived together. He’s couch surfing and does not want to work so of course child support is stacking up. He sees our child maybe once or twice a month, he says he would want to see him more yet never makes an effort. It’s been 2 going on 3 weeks and I have not heard from him, I send him pictures and now he decided to be petty and turn his read receipts on. I’m over trying to be the bigger person and chasing over a man who does not want to be in the child’s life. My son recognizes him but does not have a name for him and won’t call him dad. Our child is 3 yrs old.
